About Guessistan
Daily games rooted in Pakistani culture, made for players everywhere.
Why we created Guessistan
Many popular daily puzzle games are built around Western language, entertainment, and cultural references. We wanted to create something that offers the same satisfying daily ritual while placing Pakistani culture at the center.
Pakistan has an enormous range of languages, regional identities, stories, personalities, foods, expressions, and shared memories. Guessistan turns that rich material into playful daily challenges. Some clues may feel instantly familiar—like Ami ki daant aur Abu ki phatkaar—while others may introduce players to something they did not know before.
Our goal is not to test whether someone is “Pakistani enough.” It is to make players think, smile, remember, learn, and occasionally insist that their answer should also have counted—haan bhai, we hear you.
What we make
Guessistan features a growing collection of daily puzzle formats. Depending on the game, players may identify a person, place, object, expression, or cultural reference from a sequence of clues; uncover relationships among seemingly unrelated words; solve word-based challenges; or complete logic puzzles with a distinctly Pakistani personality.
The games are designed to provide variety without demanding a large time commitment. Most can be completed in approximately one to five minutes—perfect for a morning ritual, a chai break, a commute, or a friendly competition in the family group chat.
New puzzles are published regularly, and the game collection may evolve as we experiment with new ideas and learn what players enjoy most.
How our puzzles are created
Puzzle creation begins with research and brainstorming across a broad range of Pakistani subjects. Ideas may come from history, regional vocabulary, popular entertainment, sports, geography, food, public figures, commonly heard phrases, or ordinary experiences that feel culturally recognizable.
Technology may assist parts of the creative and research process, but puzzles are reviewed by a person before publication. We check clues, answers, spelling variations, difficulty, cultural relevance, and overall playability. We also try to account for the many valid ways Urdu and other Pakistani languages can be written in the Roman alphabet.
Even with careful review, mistakes or ambiguities can happen—gustakhi maaf! We welcome corrections, especially when a clue overlooks a regional variation, an accepted spelling, or important context.
Designed for a broad audience
You do not need specialized knowledge or an account to play Guessistan. Some puzzles reward deep familiarity with Pakistani culture, while others can be solved through logic, deduction, and general knowledge.
We aim to present cultural material thoughtfully and respectfully. Pakistan is wonderfully diverse, and no single puzzle can represent every community or perspective. As Guessistan grows, we hope to feature an increasingly broad range of regions, languages, traditions, and experiences.
Accessibility and usability are also ongoing priorities. If something makes a game difficult to understand, navigate, read, or operate, we want to hear about it.
Sharing and community
Guessistan is meant to be shared. Players can compare results, discuss difficult clues, protect their streaks, and invite friends and family to play—without revealing puzzle answers to people who have not played yet. No spoilers, please—itna zulm na karein.
Feedback from players helps us improve existing games and develop new ones. Suggestions for puzzle subjects, regional references, spelling variations, accessibility improvements, and new game ideas are always welcome.

Our commercial approach
We may support Guessistan through clearly labeled advertising or sponsorships in the future. Commercial relationships will not give advertisers or sponsors control over puzzle answers, clues, difficulty, or editorial decisions - all these decisions will remain with Guessistan editorial board.
Sponsors may receive aggregated performance reporting derived from analytics-enabled traffic. They will not receive player identities, individual answers, raw event-level data, or reporting represented as covering the entire audience when analytics are available only for a portion of visitors.
Our priority is to keep Guessistan enjoyable, trustworthy, and freely accessible while developing a sustainable way to operate and improve it.
