Plan the route

Start with the most constrained spaces. Corners and edge tiles have fewer possible exits, while the longest answer places the strongest limits on the board. Compare each category clue with its required length before drawing a path.

A route may bend as often as needed, but it can move only up, down, left, or right. Look ahead before entering a corner or narrow pocket: every unused tile must still have a way to join one of the other answers, and diagonal neighbors cannot rescue a stranded letter.

Eliminate tiles

Once a word is confirmed, its tiles leave the board and shrink the possibilities for every remaining route. If a promising trace stalls, try reading it from the other end and use the unused tiles to test whether the route can still cover the board.

The required four-, five-, six-, and seven-letter lengths are another elimination tool. When a category suggests several possible words, compare their lengths and starting positions with the board. A candidate is useful only if its trace is continuous and leaves workable paths for all three remaining answers.

Trace, revise, and use hints

Drag across letters, tap tiles one at a time, or use the keyboard. Tap the active end again to step backward, or choose a non-neighbor to begin a different path. If you are stuck, a hint reveals the next tile on an unsolved path without exposing the complete word, so you can continue the deduction yourself.
